Energy Minister Petar Skundric said that electricity prices will not increase at this time. He said that it is very important for the price of electricity in the country to be similar to the price in Europe, especially because of development projects and capital reconstruction that is being planned. Minister says electricity prices will not increase He said that when the price increase does occur, it will not be close to the realistic prices of electrical energy on the European market, however. “At this moment there will be no changes in the price of electrical energy, because the process has not begun yet. What EPS is asking for, and has a right to ask for, is the discussion of realistic electrical energy prices, considering the fact that electrical energy is the cheapest here, compared to the region and all of Europe,” he explained.
