The inflation in Serbia, measured by the Consumer Price Index, was 2.1 percent in May. At the same time it reached seven percent since the beginning of the year, the Statistical Office said on Monday. May inflation reached 7 pct The inter-annual inflation in May totaled 9.1 percent, the statement said. The highest price increase in May was registered with foodstuffs and soft drinks – 3.8 percent, transportation – 3.6 percent, health care – 0.9 percent, and clothing and footwear – 0.7 percent. There was no major rise in the price of other goods and services.
