The Serbian government will on Thursday on its website publish the contract for the sale of 51 percent of NIS to Russia's Gazprom.

The Serbian government will on Thursday on its website publish the contract for the sale of 51 percent of NIS to Russia's Gazprom. The memorandum of understanding on the modernization of a gas storage facility in Banatski Dvor and a document which sets the basic conditions for an agreement on the South Stream pipeline construction in Serbia will also be made public. Govt. set to publish NIS sale contract A controlling stake in Serbia's oil monopoly NIS was sold to Gazprom on Wednesday for EUR 400mn, when presidents Dmitry Medvedev and Boris Tadic signed the contract, and non-binding documents related to Banatski Dvor and the South Stream. The presidents also signed a joint statement as a political guarantee that all elements of the Russo-Serbian energy agreement will be realized.
