Inflation in Serbia last month reached 1.5 percent, the Statistical Office said in a new report it released today. The figure was calculated according to the methodology harmonized with EU recommendations for retail prices index calculation. April inflation in Serbia 1.5 pct Consumer prices in April increased by 14.6 percent in relation to the same month last year, the statement said. Compared to March, the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages reported the highest growth (3.7 percent), followed by the prices of services such as state television fees, which were up 1.9 percent. The consumer prices index represents a special retail index that is calculated according to the methodology is harmonized with EU recommendations (Harmonized Price Index).

Consumer prices in April increased by 14.6 percent in relation to the same month last year, the statement said.
