Larijani decided: Iran will not negotiate with the United States
Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani stated today that there will be no negotiations with the United States.
After reports in Western media suggesting that Tehran had sought talks with Washington, Ali Larijani emphasized that Iran will not negotiate with the United States, Tasnim reports.
Early this morning, The Wall Street Journal reported that Larijani had sent his plans for resuming negotiations with the U.S. to the Omani side as a proposal to restart talks — but Larijani has publicly denied that any such negotiations will take place.
The United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran on Saturday morning at a time when indirect nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington, mediated by Oman, were underway.
According to reports, numerous Iranian officials were also killed, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, which is considered a major blow to Tehran.
