Mihailo Djurdjević, an economic analyst, being hosted on Nova S, pointed out that the investment rating is a big step forward for Serbia.
In a guest appearance on Hit Tweet last night, President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, pointed out that Serbia is the only one in the region to have an investment rating, which is the result of hard work in previous years!
Djurdjević has now confirmed that this is a big deal for all of Serbia.
"By receiving an investment rating, Serbia has been placed among those whose debt is considered stable. With this, we have moved to a group in which historically we have never been a member. The surprise is that it happened this year, it gives us the opportunity to be granted loans at cheaper interest rates. This is a big step forward! The investment rating also means the arrival of a larger number of investors, it means GDP growth, which will be around 4% in the next 5 years, and what further means an increase in the standard of living! From the point of view of investors, a better credit rating is more important than the rule of law, EXPO and announcements of large investments contributed to all this," said Djurdjević.
