Dijana Hrka has been discharged from the hospital; MediGroup issues a statement

As we have learned, Dijana Hrka was safe in the hospital, where she was recovering at her own request. She personally chose this hospital, and doctors took care of her health.

MediGroup issues statement

Due to a deterioration in her health condition, Dijana Hrka was admitted this evening to MediGroup General Hospital to receive necessary medical assistance, where she was given therapy, MediGroup announced.

In a statement published on the MediGroup website, it was stated that after diagnostic procedures were conducted, the patient was provided with continuous medical supervision and appropriate therapeutic care.

“The priority of all undertaken measures is to preserve her health and ensure complete medical safety. We ask the media and the public for understanding and to respect the patient’s right to privacy,” the statement said.

Dijana Hrka, the mother of Stefan Hrka, who died in the collapse of a canopy in Novi Sad, left earlier this evening the tent set up near the National Assembly of Serbia, where she had been on hunger strike. Videos posted on social media showed her entering a private clinic.

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić stated this evening that it is very important for Dijana Hrka’s health that she received medical therapy tonight and added that, according to his information, she will most likely return to the same spot in front of the National Assembly of Serbia.
