Dacic: Against all forms of revolutionary governments

"Our electoral list was discussed as the Constitution requires with the President of the Republic Vucic. As you know, I said it right away, but I wanted my party comrades and partners from the coalition to confirm it as well. Our position is that a government should be elected so that there is a stable parliamentary majority, we are absolutely against all forms of coup governments," said Dacic.

"We talked about some current topics, whether they are of an international or internal political nature. Our coalition was formed 12 years ago and I think it is in the interest of Serbia," said Dacic.

Consultations were held with representatives of the "Aleksandar Vučić - Serbia must not stop" election list from 12:00 p.m.

Vučić started the consultations yesterday with talks with representatives of the Russian Party list - Slobodan Nikolić, Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM), Usame Zukorlić - United for Justice - Party of Justice and Reconciliation - Bosnians of Sandžak, Tomislav Žigmanov - Democratic Alliance of Croats in Vojvodina and the parliamentary group "Mi-glas iz naroda".

President of Serbia sent a letter to all electoral list holders and parliamentary groups in the Serbian Parliament, and, as he said earlier, five or six lists have applied for participation.

Part of the parliamentary opposition parties declared earlier that they would not respond to the president's call for consultations on the new government.

On March 19, the Assembly confirmed the resignation of Prime Minister Miloš Vučević, which ended the mandate of the government, and the deadline for forming a new government expires on April 18 at midnight.

According to Article 127 of the Constitution of Serbia, candidates for the position of Prime Minister designate are proposed to the National Assembly by the President of the Republic after consultation with the representatives of the selected electoral lists.

In the Law on Government, in Article 15, it is stated that the government is elected by the National Assembly on the proposal of a candidate for the Prime Minister, and it is elected if the majority of the total number of MPs voted for its election.
