Serbians still in critical condition after deadly crash

Two Serbian citizens are in the hospital in Macedonia in a critical condition after a traffic accident late on Monday that killed an 8-month-old baby.

30-year-old Marija Marinković and her 24-year-old brother-in-law Nikola Marinković, from the town of Ćuprija in Serbia, are receiving medical treatment in Skopje, and doctors are fighting to save their lives, the daily Blic is reporting.

20-year-old Milica Novović from Niš was also injured in the crash on the Gevgelija - Veles road, but her condition in hot-life threatening. The same is true of Nikola Marinković, a five-year-old who was also injured, and 20-year-old Nikola Gavrilović.

The crash involved two Serbian license plates vehicles. The child that died has been identified as Andrija Marinković.

The drivers of both cars - Dragan Marinković and Rajko Radojković - suffered only minor injuries. The reports from Macedonia have not given any details as to the cause of the crash.


Three die of Listeria infection

Three persons died in Macedonia during the past month as a consequence of infection with the Listeria bacteria.
