1. What a pathetic bunch of angry old drunks and their young loser proteges. I guess it is good that they left their basements and kafanas to get some fresh air and hear some idiocy from a backward looking lunatic.

Yup, the Russians have certainly discovered how to trick Serbia into anything they want... give Serbia some compliments and Serbs will sell NIS for a fistful of Euros!

  4. Milosevic is innocent. Seselj is innocent. Mladic is innocent. Karadjic is innocent. 8 thousand Bosnians one day decided to commit mass suicide.

There are plenty of idiots, mostly Serbs, who believe this crap. They should be called out for what they are, stupid, stupid people. And as you can see from this gathering in Belgrade, they are plentiful in Serbia.

  5. All Russian media give complimentary articles about Serbia like the below:

  10. Seselj is the most popular Serbian politician among the Russian elites. His mentality is very close to what the Russians think about the world affairs. Yet Russia’s strategy is preferring legal governments of the state so we have to deal with Vucic. I think that good Russian-Serbian relations has been established not thanks to this government but despite this government. A bit more patriotic government could tribute much more to the all side cooperation that had been declared in Tadic times. By the way if asked which of the two is better I would be at a loss. Maybe I would answer like Stalin did when asked which of the two party groups (правые уклонисты или левые уклонисты) was worse. He said that both were worse.

  13. Seselj said that Serbia had a chance to see "what DOS and SNS rule looks like," saying the latter "indebted the country even more and led it into a deeper economic crisis." Now is the time to see what Radicals in power are like, he added.

Yes! Serbia sees what a country under SNS looks like, and can compare it to what it looked liked when persons like Seselj and his fascist SRS supported Milosevic's government after 1992, don't you think?

  15. "what DOS and SNS rule looks like," saying the latter "indebted the country even more and led it into a deeper economic crisis."

Vucic has pursued a debt and spend policy which has seen Serbian debt per GDP balloon to 80%. Unemployment is still relatively high at 17% while wages are essentially stagnant. Vucic failed to heed the advice of his former Economics Princeton Grad who urged deep cuts to government and public debt instead replacing him with an Economics Professor Mule from the University of Belgrade to play with demand and supply curves instead of real action. Serbia is headed for the same hole Greece is trying to dig itself out.

I will give credit where credit is due,the Albanian Economy is pursuing the right strategy with slow grow, limited spending and debt and growing investment at a SUSTAINABLE rate. It seems the Albanian government has learned from the past after the insurance pyramid schemes from Berisha and must be commended. The government also plays close attention to foreign investment that try to take tax revenue dollars away from Albania. Recently, Bankers Petroleum based out of Calgary, Canada was sold to a Chinese Investment Company. It owns and controls the Oil industry in Albania mostly notably along the Kucova oil fields. It is a win for the Albanian government as Bankers petroleum owed millions in deferred taxes which will be recovered in the Chinese purchase. Serbia could learn a few lessons on how Albania is growing its economy.

  16. LOL! Yeah, even the gay parade had more streets blocked off and police for a mere 48 people. Not sure where you were but obviously not at the march. I did the whole march and took some nice photos with one of Knez Milosa and traffic being banked up as far as the eye can see.
    (Zoran, 25 March 2016 14:59)

Zoran, it's great to see such a turn out, wish I could've been there. Belgrade obviously has the population which in turn translates to votes. I would love to see the SRS with a good percentage because although I wish, they will never form a government however, if parties like the SRS, DSS, Dveri, etc. could obtain 20% - @25% cumulatively, it would be great for this time around. In 2020, hopefully we might have better.

    Sve najbolje!!

  17. "This is a verdict to the entire Serbian people, Serbian history and nation. The Hague Tribunal is creating a new history for us," Seselj said, and added that the tribunal blames only Serbs for all the events in the Balkans.

Pathetic scam. Seselj should shake hands with Thaci, who stated that Marti's accusation were 'against Kosovo'. How can a verdict against a single person be against a Nation? Works only for mindless people who believe in the idea of collective guilt.

But yes, on 24th April, Serbs will choose. And it's not hard to guess that the Radicals will fail once again to pass the threshold. Most are satisfied with the current government, which works on improving living conditions and economical growth. They have a lot to gain back after people like Seselj and Milosevic ruined the country, financially and morally.

P.S: Did the Radical provide free bus transfers from other towns for their supporters, in the good old Milosevic way of organized mass rallies?

  20. Serveral thousand people took place? Yes, several thousand, it was more like 15,000 to 20,000. I was there and it was huge. The city was gridlocked, traffic at a standstill for miles. The whole of Terazija was full of people, young and old. Wow, I haven't seen something like this for a long time.
    (Zoran, 25 March 2016 11:02)

Stop exaggerating, it was pitfull, compared to 15 or so years ago,you would have had 50,000 ,now only 3,000 people.
Serb population,MORE than 50%, DON'T want to Join EU ,Russia or USA pact's.The feeling among the Serb's is that they want to be neutral, and progress with business adventures and projects with every countries, not restrictions.
Alot of job's are being created in the private sector, but are lost with the slashing\axing in the government sector. So it's only balancing out,at the moment, with the work force.
So to Japan,South Korea,Vietnam, China,South and Central America, USA,UAE,Iran,Russia,Azerbaijan, Belorussia, and EU nations, Keep investing, and creating job's.
It's good that EVERYONE wants to invest!
I wish that Serbia and the Balkans live with peace and harmony, and progress with business infrastructure, and creations of job's,NOT fighting and can come to peaceful agreements.
But that will be hard ,with the stubbornness and comments that are left on this site, that I have read.
