Serbia's national football team beat Northern Ireland 2-1 in Belgrade on Friday night, in the fifth round of qualifications for the 2012 European Championships. The game was played at the Red Star stadium, in front of about 250 spectators (Northern Ireland supporters), and the referee was Serge Gumienny. EURO qualifiers: Serbia beat N. Ireland Marko Pantelic and Zoran Tosic each scored a goal for Serbia, 65 and 74 minutes into the game respectively, and Gareth McAuley scored for Northern Ireland in the 40th minute. Serbia will next play the national team of Estonia, in Tallinn on Tuesday. (Beta)
