Don’t flatter yourselves, the west, NATO or US would not give a rat’s arse about Albos. If they did care they would have done something about the depleted uranium and its cancer-causing properties. Very interesting comments. As an "outsider" (non-serbian, non-albanian) I have to say it looks like the US is following its business as usual and drop the kosovo albanians like a hot potato. It was predictable and could be forseen, although the Albanians here dont like to hear and see it. Time to bring kosovo (or at least a part of it) home to its rightful owner and end the criminal regime there. We never set back. We albanians always fought for Kosova. This time we would have a regular army and we will not fight anymore with sticks against tanks. Do not forget Albania is part of NATO and Serbia circled by NATO countries. More likely is for Serbia to be divided then Kosova. So "smart" serbian people keep dreaming!

After having waited until the evening, I couldn't find anything that would confirm the living phantasy of some albanian yellow-press.
Even on the official web-site of the russian Duma there's only to find quite the opposite - a solution is to be found based on UNSCR 1244.
I'm afraid the Albanians are dreaming, but the wake-up-call will be rather unpleasant for them...

Trial balloon. Why would Kosova agree to give the North for nothing? Membership to the UN is worthless, UN doesn't guarantee either prosperity nor security, a lot of UN members were torn by war, bloodshed, and lot more others by poverty, starvation, all while being "respected" members of the UN.
So-called "frozen conflict" serves Kosova best in the long term because in effect it freezes to death Serbia's ambitions on Kosova. It keeps Serbia out of EU, at least until Albania gets in and can impose its conditions on Serbia. The average age of Serbs in Kosova is 65. Sixty-year-olds don't make babies, in 30 years time, it will be all an entirely different conversation.
