Muslim countries cannot be labeled as a source of terrorism, said Al Thani, who believes that the institutions of the United States will reconsider President Donald Trump's executive order on immigration barring entry to nationals of seven predominantly Muslim states - Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Yemen and Iraq.
When reporters asked for his comment on the decision, the Qatari official said it concerned the internal affairs of another country, and something he "cannot comment on."
When asked about Serbia's stance on the same issue, Dacic said it was "similar to the position of the Qatari foreign minister."
"We do not want to interfere in the internal affairs of sovereign countries," Dacic said.
He, however, noted that Serbia has repeatedly appealed to the EU and the U.S. to find a common response to the migrant crisis, "which the EU, unfortunately, has not come up with."
Dacic then said he was "not stressed about the U.S., but about Serbia," and wondered "how will small countries cope with the challenges that this crisis brings."
Serbia could be faced with a large wave of migrants, he said, adding that, on the other hand, other countries are closing their borders. "Serbia has deserved the praise of all international organizations for its behavior towards migrants, and has it," he said.
"We have acted humanely, but taking into account realistic possibilities," said Dacic.
So when Serbia kicks out Islamic terrorists in Kosovo it gets bombed, but when the US does it, they call it extreme vetting? Talk about double standards
