Vučić: "We have established a direct flight route with Georgia"; "A free trade agreement soon" VIDEO
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić met today with Georgian President Mikheil Kavlashvili.
"We have established a direct flight route between Belgrade and Tbilisi. This connection is a prerequisite for everything," Vučić said.
Vučić emphasized that a free trade agreement could be concluded by the end of next year, as these are serious discussions, and that many products could be obtained more favorably from Georgia.
"A free trade agreement could be concluded by the end of next year," Vučić said.
"We also discussed industry, the IT sector, artificial intelligence, and as our relations strengthen, there will also be talks about the defense industry," Vučić said, emphasizing:
"Georgia can always count on the Serbian vote, and I believe Serbia can count on the Georgian vote as well," Vučić stressed.
Vučić stated that this is a historic visit after 30 years of mutual relations.
"I want to publicly congratulate the president and the prime minister. Their country has an incredible growth rate; it is a fantastically successful country. Last year, Georgia had a 9.4 percent growth rate, and today it is seven percent. Show me a country in Europe with such a growth rate. We will look up to you," Vučić highlighted.
