On the menu, on offer are mainly standard Italian dishes cuisine with somewhat wider list of entrées and salads, done so in order to meet the requirements of a busy clientele during lunch break. Regardless of the length of your visit, do not miss out on the soups and potages. We tried the thick and tasty cream of mushroom soup, the aromatic Minestrone, as well as a creamy and delicious veal pottage. A rich variety of lettuces with parmesan slices could easily become your only dish on a hot summer day, but if you feel like something more filling, we suggest one of the following: pizza – with a thin crust, the prima vera offers an interesting fusion of aromas and tastes with the fresh ingredients used (zucchini, bell peppers, onions, rocket salad) splashed over a mozzarella and ham base. We also chose the penne gourmet for its’ unexpected combination of pastas with “kulen” (type of pork sausage, seasoned and hot) and bacon, but alas, we were not at all impressed with its thin, red sauce, only slightly improved with the addition of parmesan. Chicken per sempre was composed of two chicken fillets dressed in prosciutto, served in a distinctively piquant sauce, soya sauce and with oven baked unpeeled whole potatoes. Chocolate mousse was served in five ice-cream-like balls, dressed up with chocolate syrup, but the three of them – black chocolate – overpowered the other two made of white chocolate. Having a solid wine card, correct service and prices, this restaurant presents a pleasant gastronomic destination if and when you find yourself in this part of the city. Meal for two costs 2,300 dinars. In spite of its romantic name (meaning “forever” in Italian) there is nothing “romantic” about this restaurant’s location near Slavija square, where the busy traffic produces hardly bearable noise.
