Bomb found outside shop in northern KM

An unexploded hand grenade, which was discovered at the entrance to a supermarket in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, has been defused by a KFOR bomb disposal team.

An unexploded hand grenade, which was discovered at the entrance to a supermarket in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, has been defused by a KFOR bomb disposal team. Northern Kosovska Mitrovica Police Chief Milija Milosevic told Tanjug that the bomb had been discovered this morning at around 06:00 CET, after which the KFOR team arrived at the scene to deactivate the device. Bomb found outside shop in northern KM The grenade was discovered in front of a supermarket in the city center, and the situation was normalized by 08:00 CET, said Milosevic. Supermarket owner Dragisa Kostic told local radio station Kontakt Plus that one of his employees had spotted the bomb as he was coming to work this morning. “We reported the matter to the police, after which KFOR arrived,” said Kostic, adding that he had not received any threats, nor did he know what the motive could be.

The grenade was discovered in front of a supermarket in the city center, and the situation was normalized by 08:00 CET, said Milošević.
