A day after the festival in Novi Sad ends, EXIT Sea Dance festival will be held in Budva, Montenegro, the Novi Sad City Assembly has announced.

According to the new concept entitled The EXIT Adventure, the festival will be held at the Petrovaradin Fortress July 10-13, and then continue in Montenegro July 15-17, EXIT Strategic Director Dušan Kovačević said.

At a news conference which gathered Novi Sad Mayor Miloš Vučević and Budva Mayor Lazar Rađenović, Kovačević underscored that EXIT "will remain in Novi Sad as the city's traditional festival forever, or at least for as long as the citizens of Novi Sad desire."

Kovačević said that EXIT launched the new festival concept primarily because of the trends popular with the European festival audience over the past few years who are keen on attending music festivals on the seaside.

Kovačević also told reporters that EXIT was declared "one of the ten best world music festivals this year for the sixth time in a row," and underscored that it "has to adjust to world trends in the area if it wants to remain on festival top lists."
