I'm pretty sure no one is saying that anyone in Serbia or Croatia invented the concept of a music festival, Lenard. Besides, EXIT has been happening in Serbia since the '90s as a protest movement against Milosevic. As such, I'm pretty sure that it was happening long before many foreigners started making music festivals in Croatia
(Danilo, 8 December 2013 11:51) I'm just saying that the on the coast is the copy of Croatian http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/travelnews/10354135/Young-Britons-flock-to-Croatia.html music festivals. I think Exit in Serbia days are numbered it is subsedised by tax payers Serbia is broke. Exit is trying to survive the only feasible option is on Montenegro coast. Just don't tell the rest of the Serbs they are known to get upset at a drop of a hat.

The only music concerts the rest of the world ever hears about coming from Croatia are those hosted by that loser Thompson who can only play to dim-witted Gastarbejeters.

Not true. There are at least 2-3 festivals in Croatia, probably more. Soundwave, I can think of off the top of my head. Mostly (if not all), it's foreign production companies.

We're sorry Lenny, but what copycat music scenes are you talking about? EXIT has been going on for 15 years and it's regarded as one of the top music venues in Europe. The only music concerts the rest of the world ever hears about coming from Croatia are those hosted by that loser Thompson who can only play to dim-witted Gastarbejeters.

We know you're jealous Serbs have more talent than you, but those are the brakes. Please get back to serving drinks to German and Italian tourists.

Is it ever going to pay for itself though. Serbs were saying that it cost the state budget $1.5 million dollars last year. And people (non-Serbs) doing a critical write-up says that the people who come backpackers, students on tight budget do not bring any money into the Serbian economy (the cost of tickets doesn't alone cover the cost of running the festival). So is this Budva festival going to cost extra, and is the Montenegrin government going to cover costs for that part?

A good way to link the interests of Serbia and Montenegro, and to connect these two countries in the best way and presented in the best light.
