Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic says his country supports Serbia's speedy EU integration. Speaking in a news conference after visiting Kovacica, a small town in Vojvodina, northern Serbia, mainly populated by ethnic Slovaks, Gasparovic also voiced Bratislava's support for Belgrade's policy of preserving Serbia's territorial integrity in Kosovo. Gasparovic said that there were discussions about this issue at the summit of Central European heads of state in Novi Sad which ended Saturday. Serbia and Slovakia nurture good relations on all levels, Gasparovic underscored. He thanked Serbia's Slovaks for being the country's loyal citizens, and for their efforts to contribute to the progress and development of each place they live in.
