EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton hopes a probe will soon reveal the truth about human organ trade in Kosovo. “It is in everyone's interest for the truth to surface so that justice could be served,” Ashton told Russia Today. Ashton: Truth about organ trade to be revealed soon She recalled that she had visited Belgrade and Pristina and conferred with Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci. “What we made clear is that if certain accusations are made, then authorities need to respond to them,” she pointed out and added that the truth needed to be established even if the accusation were false. She expressed hope that an investigation would soon be carried out which will bring to light the truth about the allegations, and added that if need be, some people would be brought to justice. Commenting on the arrest of Ratko Mladic, the EU high official said that it was a coincidence that the Hague Tribunal indictee was captured on the same day she paid an official visit to Belgrade.
