Some students announce continuation of protests
Belgrade University Faculty of Philology and Faculty of Philosophy students have said they will continue protests until their requests are fulfilled.

Belgrade University Faculty of Philology and Faculty of Philosophy students have said they will continue protests until their requests are fulfilled. The students told Tanjug they were not satisfied with the Friday negotiations with the Education Ministry which was also attended by representatives of Nis, Kragujevac and Novi Sad Universities. Some students announce continuation of protests Faculty of Philology and Faculty of Philosophy Plenums’ representatives did not attend the yesterday’s meeting at the Education Ministry where consent on most of the requests had been reached. The students negotiating teams’ representatives said after the meeting that they would end the protest. A Faculty of Philosophy Plenum member said, however, that the agreement which was signed on Friday only contained recommendations and that the faculties were not obligated to fulfill students’ requests. Faculty of Philology students pointed out that they were not satisfied with what had been agreed either and added that they would continue to prevent classes from being held next week.
