Snow slows traffic in Serbia
Moderate snow fall throughout Serbia has slowed down traffic on roads around the country, the Automobile and Motorcycle Organization of Serbia (AMSS) stated.

Moderate snow fall throughout Serbia has slowed down traffic on roads around the country, the Automobile and Motorcycle Organization of Serbia (AMSS) stated. There is an increased danger of ice-covered roads because of the low temperatures as well. Snow slows traffic in Serbia AMSS also stated that sanitation has begun and road crews are out cleaning the snow currently. The organization is advising special caution on the Djerdapska and Ibarska highways, and all parts of the highway that are close to gorges, as well as at the ends and beginnings of tunnels. On the M-22 highway, which leads from Belgrade, through Novi Sad, and on to Subotica, trucks over 12 tons in weight are not allowed to travel. These trucks will be redirected towards the E-75 Belgrade-Subotica highway. (B92)
