Rasim Ljajić says Serbia did not promise Carla Del Ponte that Ratko Mladić will be delivered to the Hague by the end of 2007.

“The Tribunal representatives assured me that her words were not properly cited. According to them, Del Ponte actually said that she hoped that Belgrade would hand over the most wanted Hague indictee within that timeframe,” Ljajić explained."It is not possible that any member of the government could have made that promise, since it might imply that Serbian authorities knew where he was,” Ljajić concluded.
