According to the Serbian government, Vucic and Dodik "exchanged views on the political and economic situation in the region during their meeting in Belgrade, and agreed that peace, political tolerance and full stability are the conditions for progress of the Republic of Serbia and the RS."

During the talks, Vucic and Dodik agreed that the Republic of Serbia and RS "need to additionally improve their economic cooperation in keeping with the Law on Special and Parallel Relations."

On Thursday, EP adopted a resolution on leader of the Serbian Radical Party Vojislav Seselj in which it called on the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (ICTY) to reexamine its decision to grant him provisional release.

The resolution also calls on Serbian authorities to distance themselves from Seselj's statements.
