Macedonians don’t trust EU, poll shows
A total of 60 percent of Macedonian citizens do not trust the EU policy regarding their country, shows opinion survey carried out by poll agency Rating.

A total of 60 percent of Macedonian citizens do not trust the EU policy regarding their country, shows opinion survey carried out by poll agency Rating. The survey was published by Skopje-based daily Dnevnik on Friday. Macedonians don’t trust EU, poll shows According to the poll, 38 percent of interviewees stated that they had faith in the EU policy toward Macedonia. The survey, which was conducted on a sample of 1,080 respondents, shows major differences in opinions between the two main ethnicities in the country. Namely, 72 percent of ethnic Macedonians do not trust the EU, while as much as 74 percent of ethnic Albanians have confidence in the EU policy regarding the former Yugoslav republic.
