The illegal immigrants, whose nationality was not released, were found by the coast guard in a vessel near the Athens coastal suburb of Keratea. Greek coast guard detains 39 illegal immigrants Three human-traffickers, two Greeks and one Romanian, were also detained. Tens of thousands of illegal immigrants attempt to enter European Union member Greece every year, mainly from neighbouring Turkey, the Middle East and Africa.
