In his address, Vulin "stressed the Serbian Army is something that determines and distinguishes us, and makes our people proud," the MoD said in a statement.According to this, Dikovic informed the minister that the Army's operational capabilities are "at the required level," that the situation was stable, and that the execution of the assigned missions and tasks of the Army is assured.
Vulin noted that "the supreme commander (i.e., the president ) is at the helm of our Army, in accordance with the Constitution and the law" - and that "his word will be respected and his attitudes taken into account, and his policies implemented and fulfilled fully."
"The Republic of Serbia can be safe, peaceful and stable as long as it has such an army," the minister said.
Vulin then visited the Operational Center of the Defense System from where he personally received a video report from Lieutenant-Colonel Dusan Mrdak, Serbia's senior representative in the UNIFIL mission in Lebanon.
Mrdak informed Vulin that 170 members of the Army currently deployed in Lebanon are performing their regular tasks and that "everyone is well."
