Minister says coalition partners are "almost lowlives"

In a statement on Tuesday, Mihajlovic said:

"For months and days we've been listening and watching various statements of our coalition partner the SPS, whether it was about members, a vice-president, or the president, and we have been keeping quiet. And not only was that not enough, but after the many lies and everything they've been saying, they are making themselves into the victim of sorts."

Mihajlovic described "them" as being "not people, but almost lowlives," and stressing the fact PM Vucic is not reacting to "certain insults" does not mean that "any of us have forgotten anything."

"The SNS is not a punching bag you can hit at will, when you feel like it. The SNS is a party that gained the enormous trust of citizens, that is heading the government of Serbia and carrying out reforms that are very important for our country," she said.

The statements today came as one is a series of attacks launched by the SNS, aimed their coalition partners, with SNS official and cabinet minister Nebojsa Stefanovic a week ago asking for "individuals from the SPS" to suffer political consequences. This came after SPS official Branko Ruzic posted a photograph showing of himself in the company of a man known for interrupting a live television broadcast to insult Aleksandar Vucic.

SPS leader Dacic said Ruzic's behavior was impermissible, and Ruzic apologized both to Vucic and Dacic, and their voters. Vucic reacted by saying he "did not understand" why Dacic also received an apology.
