EC adopts Serbia's draft Action Plan for Chapter 23
The European Commission (EC) has adopted Serbia’s draft Action Plan for Chapter 23, the Ministry of Justice has told Tanjug.

EC adopts Serbia's draft Action Plan for Chapter 23
The EC gave a positive opinion on the draft action plan, which provides an overview of the measures and deadlines for reforms that Serbia intends to undertake in the field of justice, fundamental rights and the fight against corruption in order to harmonize and standardize its legislation with that of the European Union.Chapter 23 opens first and closes last in membership negotiations, but in Serbia’s case, Chapter 35, relating to stabilization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, is expected to be the final one.
The Ministry of Justice has been in charge of preparing the draft document for Chapter 23, and the head of the working group is Assistant Justice Minister Cedomir Backovic.
