MPs adopt government’s report on dialogue

Serbian MPs adopted the government’s report on the political and technical talks with Priština, including the Brussels agreement, late on Friday.

BELGRADE Serbian MPs adopted the government’s report on the political and technical talks with Pristina, including the Brussels agreement, late on Friday. The government’s report was supported by 173 MPs of the ruling majority and opposition Democratic Party (DS), Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM), League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina (LSV) and Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO)-Democratic-Christian Party of Serbia (DHSS). MPs adopt government’s report on dialogue 24 MPs of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), several MPs who live in Kosovo but are from other parties and independent MPs Borislav Pelevic and Nikola Tulimirovic were against the report. One MP abstained from voting and five MPs did not vote. The government performed all activities, including the Belgrade-Pristina negotiations, with respect of the Constitution and constant informing and consulting with representatives of local self-governments in Kosovo, reads the report. It is also stated in the 25-page report that the government's activities and the negotiations were done in accordance with the parliamentary resolution on Kosovo. The government listed all 15 articles of the agreement in its report. The session was opened on Friday morning by Prime Minister Ivica Dacic who elaborated on the talks and the agreement that was initialed on April 19 in Brussels. (Tanjug) B92 Tanjug

24 MPs of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), several MPs who live in Kosovo but are from other parties and independent MPs Borislav Pelević and Nikola Tulimirović were against the report.

One MP abstained from voting and five MPs did not vote.
