NOVI SAD Voting is underway in the second round of additional provincial elections in three towns in Vojvodina – Zrenjanin, Apatin and Srbobran. Polling stations opened at 7:00 CET. Second round of additional provincial elections underway More than 78,000 citizens are eligible to vote in the three towns. The polling stations will be open until 20:00 CET. Three Democratic Party (DS) candidates, two Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) candidates and one Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) candidate are running for three seats in the Vojvodina assembly. These candidates won the majority of votes in the first round of additional elections on February 17. According to the election rules, a seat in the provincial assembly will get a candidate who receives the majority of votes in each town. Second round of additional provincial elections underway

More than 78,000 citizens are eligible to vote in the three towns. The polling stations will be open until 20:00 CET.

Three Democratic Party (DS) candidates, two Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) candidates and one Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) candidate are running for three seats in the Vojvodina assembly.

These candidates won the majority of votes in the first round of additional elections on February 17.

According to the election rules, a seat in the provincial assembly will get a candidate who receives the majority of votes in each town.

The additional elections were called by Vojvodina assembly Speaker Ištvan Pastor because Apatin, Zrenjanin and Srbobran mayors resigned as assembly members.
