Coordination Bureau confers on Agrobanka case

BELGRADE The Security Service Coordination Bureau held a meeting on Monday to discuss the Agrobanka case. The meeting ended around 15:00 CET but the participants did not give any statements. Vucic said on Sunday ahead of the meeting that it may be expected to yield the continuation of the already launched fight against corruption and crime. Vucic told Tanjug earlier that the Agrobanka case “carries strong symbolic meaning”, and that the case reflected the practices which had led to the decline of the state. He announced that no one who had been involved in this scandal would be spared or protected, regardless of the person in question. Vucic said that the results of the operation aimed at fighting corruption and crime would be visible even in the coming days, but voiced expectation they would be evident in the next month or two.
