A deputy prime minister in the Kosovo Albanian government says the forthcoming visit of President Boris Tadic "will be of exclusively religious character". Tadic will spend Christmas Eve and Christmas on Friday and Saturday at the Serbian Orthodox monastery of Visoki Decani. "Tadic's visit is of religious nature" "One of our requirements is to treat this visit as a religious one that does not have political character," Hajrudin Kuci told reporters. "We have received international guarantees in this regard, and this message was communicated to Tadic," he said. The Kosovo government said that it has received the request of Serbian president to visit Kosovo through the offices of the European Commission in Belgrade and Pristina, and added that this visit will be of exclusively religious character - said the Albanian language electronic media in Pristina.
