Opposition Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) has repeated its request to call early parliamentary elections and announced a new rally on March 26 in Zrenjanin. “As a part of preparations for the great national rally on April 16 in Belgrade we will hold several more rallies in towns across Serbia,” SNS’ Nikola Selakovic stated. Opposition party announces new rally According to him, the SNS will tomorrow notify the public about the government’s reaction to the party’s proposal to hold the elections in November if Serbia gets the EU candidate status in October. “Nothing has changed with the latest cosmetic changes in the regime, in the government. The SNS still insists on the elections,” Selakovic pointed out. He added that the elections were an opportunity for the citizens to state their opinion about the state that the country is in and about the regime’s policy that led the country into a “catastrophic condition”. Opposition party announces new rally

According to him, the SNS will tomorrow notify the public about the government’s reaction to the party’s proposal to hold the elections in November if Serbia gets the EU candidate status in October.

“Nothing has changed with the latest cosmetic changes in the regime, in the government. The SNS still insists on the elections,” Selaković pointed out.

He added that the elections were an opportunity for the citizens to state their opinion about the state that the country is in and about the regime’s policy that led the country into a “catastrophic condition”.
