It should not come as a surprise, President Boris Tadic said on Thursday, if “we make moves in our foreign policy that are not conventional”. Speaking in the town of Pancevo, where his ruling Democrats (DS) marked the party's patron saint day, and where he attended VS Guard anniversary celebrations, Tadic did not elaborate on this, but said that DS was “built into the foundations of the state”. Tadic stated the Democrats were ready to “turn former enemies into associates”, all for creating a better future for Serbia. As for the party's current political partners, those from SPS-PUPS-JS coalition were present at the reception, but officials from G17 Plus did not show up.
