Tadić: Unconventional foreign policy moves

It should not come as a surprise, President Boris Tadić said on Thursday, if “we make moves in our foreign policy that are not conventional”.

@Rob,
Thank you for your concern. I too hope that Israeli politicians are preparing their citizens for the capitulation of Israel. Cheers.

Serbia technically bankrupted last summer and only IMF loans are helping her to breath.

The "evil" west is financing your 30bn$ debt and is saving you from the bankruptcy.

Of course these facts are not told and understood by the brain washed nation of Serbia.

If it wasn't the west you would now have Moldovan salaries and pensions.

SJ,
I was merely listing what would be UNCONVENTIONAL. I didn't imply, suggest nor predict. I could have been blind like you and start a wish list but instead I choose to be based on reality and the meaning of the word unconventional. Serbia's foreign policy is based on certain principles anything else would be unconventional and as thus end up on my list. A

It should be very clear to anyone familiar with Serb politics that Tadic is preparing the Serb public for capitulation on Kosovo.

Accept a neutral Kosovo, joining NATO, EU membership rejection on Serbian part, Croatia war lawsuit, encourage Bosnia (RS) division.

Which one will it be?
(Mirub Jager, 7 May 2010 22:35)

None of the above except continue with the lawsuit and bust up Bosnia.
Let’s look at what Serbia would be joining.
NATO; a broken organization that has lost a major war and is now reduced to having it functionaries meet where they have a nice time eating and drinking and little else.
The EU; well here I could write a book, but in short its going down the tubes before our eyes and joining this magnificent organization would mean what? The EU cannot satisfy the meager expectations of ordinary citizens of eastern Europe currently part of the EU let alone accepting more countries.
Why would Serbs accept a “neutral Kosovo” when we can leave you guys in limbo and you will rot and then turn on each other like caged animals.
The west is finished and watching the financial collapse first of the US and now the EU is the greatest revenge that Serbs can wish for.

This is an unconventional statement coming from Tatic. Is this a sign of change in foreign policy? Thinking about it, there are only few moves that can be considered unconventional at the moment.

Lenard, what are you trying to say? I think you're trying to be sarcastic but, your sentence makes no sense - not in English anyway. Anyway, Tadic is a politician first of all, and politicians make all sorts of comments. They must also be encouraging and optimistic, to give people hope. Nothing wrong in what he said, unless you hate everything Serbian. Serbia will improve with the rest of the world economies, and maybe even faster.

Wow Boris is the king of the Serb angels very impressive. Start building monasteries their for sure it is some kind of sign of new Serbian holy ground who needs Kosovo.
