Russian Ambassador Aleksandr Konuzin says talks on Kosovo’s status can be resumed on the basis of a firm defense of Serbia's and Russia's stand on the issue. Speaking in Kosovska Mitrovica yesterday, he stressed the importance of focusing on maintaining this process within a political framework, adding that the Kosovo issue needed to remain on the UN agenda, and that every effort should be made to prevent Kosovo acceding to international organizations.
