A unit at a Bulgarian nuclear power station on the Danube River underwent an emergency shutdown Saturday, facility operators said. A statement from the Kozlodui power plant said the incident did not cause any radioactive leak. Their decommissioning was part of requirements for Bulgaria's entry into the European Union this year.
