Pec District Court late on Tuesday remanded Nazmi Mustafa, Kosovo's special prosecutor and head of a special anti-corruption unit, in a custody for a month. Mustafa is suspected of corruption. Mustafa and brothers Reshat and Xheladin Zherka from Djakovica were arrested on suspicion that they took bribes from people under investigation in exchange for not bringing indictments, EULEX said in a release. The second suspect, Reshat Zherka, will spend 15 days in custody, Priština media have reported.

Mustafa and brothers Reshat and Xheladin Zherka from Đakovica were arrested on suspicion that they took bribes from people under investigation in exchange for not bringing indictments, EULEX said in a release.

EULEX prosecutors in Prizren and Peć are investigating the case.
