Ratko Mladic appeared before the Hague Tribunal for the second time on Monday, where he was to enter his plea on the indictment raised against him. Unofficial reports said that this was preceded by negotiations with the goal of persuading Mladic to appear in the courtroom tody, but once he did, he was soon removed for interrupting the proceedings. At his initial appearance before the court, on June 3, he declined to plead on the charges, saying he needed more time to study them.
