Cvetkovic's lawyer Ljubomir Pantovic says the verdict, passed by two EU mission in Kosovo, EULEX, judges, "and one local judge", is "scandalous". "He (Cvetkovic) has been convicted without evidence. The witnesses contradicted each other so the audience (in the courtroom) at times laughed at their testimonies," said the lawyer, and announced he would file an appeal against the verdict. Cvetkovic went to Norway in 2007, and spent 17 months in extradition prison there before he was sent to Kosovo in July this year, on a request lodged by EULEX.
