This is not 1999 but 2010 going into 2012. Your US mates are BROKE – look it up in the dictionary.
Serbia can make your lives even more miserable than you can imagine but why would they expend time or money when it’s a prison now.
(sj, 12 November 2010 01:16)

It is very obvious (certainly for ones who live in Serbia and Kosovo perhaps not for serbian dreamers in the west) that Serbia is in no position nor does she have a power to make anyones life miserable regardless of your dreams. As for Kosovo being a prison call it whatever you want but you know it's not true.
As for US broke please continue your baseless imagination. If you think that US will not fight for something that it won fighting please give a phone call to Tadic if you have something you can influence.

I am looking forward to seeing that change of situation. It will produce an 80km buffer zone (under KFOR commander) inside Serbia.

My comment never referred to military means, but economic. I do look forward to that day when KFOR does that, but me thinks it’s only in an Albanian dream. This is not 1999 but 2010 going into 2012. Your US mates are BROKE – look it up in the dictionary.

In fact, if Belgrade wanted to send anyone there, neither EULEX nor you’re so called KSP would stop them. In the past that’s exactly how it was done. However, if the talks are not success full then watch how the situation changes.

Scandalous is when you are hiding the biggest criminals (Mladic, etc) in your own country under protection of your political leaders.

A disgrace to humanity it is!

I’m not sure but the last time I looked B92 is a Serb-based news group so who is complaining where again? Let me know when the Albos set one up so I can participate on your site; or do you even have electricity in paradise?

I think you very funny individual. Ask Bogdanovic about Kosova, since he has an experience on being turned back to his country called Serbia by Kosova Police,as ordered by Prishtina govermant?
(Kosova-USA, 10 November 2010 15:29)

The only reason Belgrade does not take retaliatory action against the Albos in Prishtina is because of the impending talks. You see your boofheads want to either delay or stop them but the EU is pushing this forward.

In fact, if Belgrade wanted to send anyone there, neither EULEX nor you’re so called KSP would stop them. In the past that’s exactly how it was done. However, if the talks are not success full then watch how the situation changes.

Cvetković was one of the Serbs driven out of Kosovo in 1999, who returned to his town in 2005. For the next two years, he worked for the Kosovo police, KPS, and was the only Serb from Klina who joined that formation.
DRIVEN OUT OG KOSOVA/O... I call it sugarcoating the story, or better propaganda, he wasn't driven out he escaped because he knew what was coming to him, the court should make him pay for the damages also.

Actually there is a simple explanation for that. The fact is that Serbia prohibits Serbs in Kosova from joining the courtrooms as judges and prosecutors.

Hey, see it in a positive light: At least there has been a court verdict, may it be ridiculous and with fake lying fake witnesses who contradict each other. Usually, in the independent dream state of Kosovo, the Albanian neighbours simply throw stones or shoot at Serbian persons they accuse of war crimes. So: A huge step of progress regarding law and order for Kosovars!

"If four Serbian families have been driven out of Kosovo by 1 specific character or group, should they get double the prison sentence for ‘severity of the damaged he incurred to innocent civilians’?
What of the mobs of mindless Albanians that have been video recorded destroying churches and homes in Kosovo?
It’s is one thing to defend your friends and family, but to ignore those acts of your friends and family only to latch onto every act committed against them shows a large degree of your true form: hypocritical and blind to truth.
(NPR, 10 November 2010 16:11)

--Actually there is a simple explanation for that. The fact is that Serbia prohibits Serbs in Kosova from joining the courtrooms as judges and prosecutors. Meaning Serbs in Kosova are prohibited by the Serb state from working together with EULEX and investigating these crimes. Meaning that in order to maintain some image the Serb state has sacrificed its own people and frankly does not care about anything that happened to them; because they want to have the image of Serbia having sovereignty over Kosova and its people. Now since the Serb government doesn't give a hoot about these Serbs what do you expect from others? Do you expect them to leave the cases where Serbs committed crimes against Albanians and jump on those where Albanians commited crimes against Serbs? That aint gonna happen because:
1. There is a huge backlog of Serbs against Albanians crimes.
2. The Serbs themselves seem to not be interested in pursuing their own self-interests because they choose to ignore their own victims in exchange for a self-perceived sovereignty of Serbs over Albanians.
As long as this continues you can stop complaining to us and start complaining to Belgrade. They have a choice to make; either continue with their self-perceived sovereignty over Albanians and maintain the status quo or allow Kosova Serbs to work with EULEX in the same manner Albanians do.
If not; then sorry but we can't hear you. We have to deal with our concerns first, and our interests first; then deal with yours last since your own leaders are not interested with your concerns either.

The obstructionism of Belgrade does have its consequences; and this is a good example of that.

PRN,
I would like to gain some perspective on your comment. It would seem that this individual's crimes primarily included taking 2 families from their homes, threatening those families with weapons and then proceeded to destroy their homes.
If we all recall correctly, in the years following 1999, many Serbian civilians had their homes burnt to their foundations. Many Serbians were driven away from their homes, and many have been threatened with weapons.
Of all of those characters that have threatened Serbia civilians, or burned down their dwellings, or forced them to leave, would you consider similar fractional punishments? If four Serbian families have been driven out of Kosovo by 1 specific character or group, should they get double the prison sentence for ‘severity of the damaged he incurred to innocent civilians’?
What of the mobs of mindless Albanians that have been video recorded destroying churches and homes in Kosovo?
