Apartments of Mladic helpers searched He said the police raids focused on finding "clues, evidence and materials". According to Belgrade daily Blic, police searched the apartments of Milorad Pelemis, a former RS Army officer, Ratko Mladic's former adjutant Dragomir Pecanac, and Nenad Bursac, who has not been mentioned previously as a helper to the Hague fugitive. Serbian police (MUP) special units started their raids at 07:00 CET on Wednesday on three locations in New Belgrade, and in the suburbs of Bezanijska Kosa and Veliki Mokri Lug. Ljajic told another newspaper, Vecernje Novosti, that it was "clear that Mladic could not successfully hide on his own“. “The helpers are not our target, they are just a means to get to Mladic,” he continued, and added that “there were much fewer helpers now than there used to be.” “Our problem’s name is Mladic, not the helpers. The stories have already been told. There is no use explaining anything without an epilogue,” Ljajic was quoted as saying.
