Serbian police (MUP) in Bujanovac arrested Armend S., 21 and Bejdzet S., 53, both residents of the village of Konculj. They were brought before an investigative judge in this southern Serbian town, and charged with assault against on-duty police officers. Arrests for attack on policemen in south The Police Directorate (PU) in Vranje said that the incident happened on November 17, when the two suspects physically assaulted three policemen as they were checking their tractor that transported livestock. The attack took place on the Dobrosin-Gnjilane road. Two officers sustained light injuries. Armend S. has been remanded in custody for one month by the judge, while the second suspect was released.
