Hungarian police have arrested a fifth suspect in the murder of Romanian handball player Marian Cozma and the wounding of two of his teammates.

Hungarian police have arrested a fifth suspect in the murder of Romanian handball player Marian Cozma and the wounding of two of his teammates. The suspect was arrested in Zalaegerseg and taken to Veszprem for questioning, according to the Veszprem district police spokesman. The first two suspects were arrested in Austria on international warrants and will be extradited to the Hungarian authorities, while the third chief suspect Ivan Sztojka turned himself in several days later. Cozma was murdered on February 8 in a nightclub in Veszprem, when a group of about 30 people attacked the handball players, who were celebrating the birth of one of the player’s son. The two injured players were Serbia's Zarko Sesum and Croatian goalkeeper Ivan Pesic. Cozma was stabbed several times in the chest and died, Pesic was stabbed in the back and had to have a kidney removed, while Sesum was knocked unconscious with a blow to the head.
