Novi Pazar police have broken a chain of people smuggling food products from Kosovo and Montenegro to Serbia. Police stopped a car with Novi Pazar license plates near the village of Vojkovice, driven by Miljan N. (36) from Belgrade, with a large supply of chicken, worth some EUR 588, without any accompanying documentation. Food smuggling chain cracked In another police action in the village of Postenje, police found 1,000 kilograms of pork and beef, worth about EUR 4,700, in the garage of Nenad N. (46) from Novi Pazar, again without the necessary documentation. Police said that charges had been filed and the meat had been handed over for inspection. The two suspects will face smuggling charges.
