Rafi Gregorian says that there is proof that Radovan Karadzic’s family is in contact with him. The Deputy High Representative to Bosnia-Hercegovina said that members of Karadzic’s family could assist in the location and extradition of the war crimes fugitive. “Karadzic in contact with family” “Karadzic’s family has been in contact with him. This contact occurred before 2003, which is why his family was put on the U.S. black list,” the deputy high representative said. He added that he had information that there had been more contact after 2003, and that various steps had been taken to confirm the claims. “Based on information found during a search, we came across information that the family had contacted Karadzic and that they had met in person,” Gregorian said. He stated that there were ongoing investigations into the matter, and that there were various operations in progress that he could not discuss. The Karadzic family said that Gregorian’s claims were “nonsense and that if they were in contact with him, they would not keep the evidence of this contact in the house.”
