BELGRADE International Monetary Fund (IMF) Resident Representative to Serbia Bogdan Lissovolik said Friday the IMF would send a delegation to Serbia in mid-September. He explained that the visit would be aimed at analyzing the factual situation in the Serbian economy. IMF Mission to visit Serbia in mid-September According to Lissovolik, the main task of the mission will be to review the latest macroeconomic indicators and forecasts, but the IMF delegation would not discuss the stand-by arrangement between the IMF and Serbia. Lissovolik said that the mission would also discuss IMF's concerns over the recent amendments of the Law on the National Bank of Serbia (NBS), which in the opinion of the IMF undermined its autonomy, and their concerns about the situation in the fiscal sector.
