Serbia's GDP per capita expressed in Purchasing Power Standards (PPS) was at 35 percent of the EU average in 2011, according to preliminary data from Eurostat. The Actual Individual Consumption (AIC) per capita in Serbia was 44 percent of the EU average, the Eurostat website said. The Netherlands is ranked behind Luxembourg, with 131 percent of the EU's average GDP per capita and 113 percent of the average AIC, followed by Austria (129 and 117 percent), Ireland (127 and 100 percent), Sweden (126 and 115 percent), Denmark (125 and 113 percent) and Germany (120 and 119 percent).
