Serbia's external debt exceeded EUR 24.1 billion in late 2011, which means that it increased 2.4 times compared to 2000. The data was presented in the latest issue of the Conjunctive Trends in Serbia journal, published by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. External debt increased 2.4 times since 2000 Most of the debt consists of medium and long-term liabilities - 93.7 percent. Public sector net debt amounted to EUR 10.8 billion in late 2011.
